All of these pictures were taken the morning of May 22, 2008.
You can see the frosting of snow from early that morning on the lower Alpine Road.
The following pictures are some shots of the high water and where some road damage has occurred. Pete Nauyokas stabilized some of the water cut areas with his backhoe and large rocks. RVer’s and everyone should be careful traveling the road, there are bad pot holes from the winter.

Best wishes go out to Ralph Ambruster, who is recovering from knee replacement surgery. The surgery went well and Ralph and Shirley hope to be back to Arrowhead soon.
Shutterbugs 2009 Calendar Fund Raiser
Final preparations were completed on the Shutterbugs 2009 calendars. They have been ordered and will be on sale at the July 5th annual AVFD picnic. The wall and desk calendars feature beautiful Arrowhead scenery taken by club members. These will make nice gifts for family and friends also.
